the persons described in and who executed the foregoing deed of
conveyance did this day to me on private examination made separately
and apart from her said husband acknowledge and declare that
she made herself a party to and executed the same for the purpose of
renouncing and relinquishing all and every dower and right of
dower in and to the lands in said conveyance described and that
the same was done by her freely and voluntarily and without any
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband the said
James S. Clark. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand

    I, W.B. Hoke Judge of the Jefferson County court the same
being a court of Record do hereby certify that Geo H. Webb whose
name is subscribed to the certificate of the proof or acknowle-
dgment of the annexed instrument and thereon written was at
the time of taking such proof and acknowledgment in and
for said County dwelling in said County Commissioned and sworn
and duly authorized as such Clerk to take the same and that
I am well acquainted with the hand writing of said Clerk and
verily believe that the signature to the said Certificate of Proof
or acknowledgement is genuine and the said Clerk acknowledged
