                           Know all men by these presents, this
Indenture made this eleventh day of February, A. D. 1885 between
Hiram Johnson, and Josephine E Johnson his wife who
joins in this deed for the purpose of renouncing and
relinquishing, all of her dower and right of dower in and
to the property herein and hereby conveyed, parties of the first
part and Marcus M. Johnson, of Oakland, California party 
of the second part, Witnesseth: That in consideration of the
sum of one dollar to us in hand paid (the party of the
first part) by the party of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said parties of the first
part, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, assign, transfer and
set over unto the said party of the second part, his
heirs and assigns, forever an undivided one half
interest in that certain piece or parcel of land
situate and lying in Alachua Co. and State of Florida
and described as follows, That is to say, Sections Seven (7)
and eighteen (18) in township nine (9) in range
twenty (20) containing together twelve hundred, and
sixteen and forty one hundredths of an acre of
land be the same more or less, (1216 40/100) Being part
of the Grant of land known as the ?Arredondo Grant?
and which by decree of the Circuit Court of St Johns
County, in the State of Florida in the case of Brush
and others against Piall and others dated August 11th
1849 and duly recorded in said Alachua County, was
adjudged and set over to the heirs at law, and
devisees of the said Nehemiah Brush deceased.
Together with all and singular, the estate, right
title, interest claim and demand which the parties
hereto, of the first part, have in and to the same.
   To have and to hold the said described piece or
parcel of land with the appurtenances thereon, as
well as the personal property, consisting of a saw mill
and orange groves, timbers, &C, unto the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.
   In testimony whereof the parties of the first
part have hereunto subscribed their names and
affixed their seals the day and year first herein written
