               This Indenture made the 9th day of April in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty five Between Mrs Celia
Goodson and Alexander Goodson of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida of the first part and Thos J. McRae and John W. McRae
of the firm of T.J. McRae & Brother of the same county and state
of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Four thousand dollars
lawful money of the United States of America to them in hand
paid by said parties of the second part at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien
remise release convey and confirm unto the said parties of the second
part and their heirs and as forever all that certain tract or parcel of
land lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida described as follows Known on the plat of the Town of
West Melrose as Lots numbered Two 2 Three 3 Four 4 Five 5 Six
6 Seven 7 - Eight 8 - Ten 10 Eleven 11 Twelve 12 and the North half of
Lot numbered One -1. Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders
and profits thereof and also all the estate title interest possession
claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said
parties of the first part. To Have and to Hold the above granted and
described premises with the appurtenances unto the said parties of
the second pa rt their heirs and assigns to their own proper use
forever And the said parties of the first part for themselves their
heirs executors and administrators do covenant to and with the said
parties of the second part their heirs and assigns that the
said parties of the first part at the time of the sealing and
delivery of these presents are lawfully seized in fee simple of and in
all and singular the above bargained and described premises with
the appurtenances and have good right and lawful authority to Sell
and convey the same. And that the said parties of the second part
their heirs and assigns shall peaceably possess the above granted
premises with the appurtenances without molestation or disturbance
of the said parties of the first part their heirs or assigns or of any
other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same and
