            This Indenture made the Eighth day of 
October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred 
and Eighty five between Edwyn Sandys Dawes George Augustus 
Thomson and Anthony Norris of London England Trustees of 
the Florida Land and Colonization Company (Limited) incorporated 
under the Companies Acts 1862 to 1880 and whose registered office is 
Situate at 13 Austin Friars London E.C. England parties of the first 
part and George H. Sutherland of the County of Alachua and State 
of Florida party of the Second part Witnesseth that the said parties 
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred
and Sixty dollars lawful money to them in hand paid by the 
said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and 
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
ledged have granted bargained sold remised released Conveyed 
and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell 
remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the 
second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that 
certain lot or parcel of land lying and being in the County 
of Alachua and State of Florida described as follows to wit: 
All of the West half of the North East quarter of the South 
west quarter of Section Thirty (30) of Township Ten (10) South of 
Range Nineteen (19) East Containing (20) acres more or less 
according to the plat of the United States Survey of said Township
