             This Indenture made the Eighth day of October in the
Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty five between 
Edwyn Sandys Dawes George Augustus Thomson and Anthony Norris of 
London England Trustees of the Florida land and Colonization Company 
(Limited) incorporated under the Companies Acts 1862 to 1880 and whose 
registered office is Situate at 13 Austin Friars London E.C. England
parties of the first part and George H. Sutherland of the County of 
Alachua and State of Florida party of the second part Witnesseth 
that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of 
the sum of one hundred and Sixty dollars lawful money to them 
in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the 
ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised 
released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do 
grant bargain sell remise release convey and confirm unto 
the said party of the second part and to his heirs and 
assigns forever all that certain lot or parcel of land lying 
and being in the County of Alachua and State of 
Florida described as follows to wit: All of the East half of 
the North West quarter of the South West quarter of Section Thirty 
(30) of Township Ten (10) South of Range Nineteen (19) East Containing 
Twenty acres more or less according to map of the United 
States Survey of said Township. Together with all and 
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and 
reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits, thereof 
and also all the estate right title interest property possession claim 
and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said parties 
of the first part of in and to the above described premises and every part 
and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have and to Hold all 
and singular the above mentioned and described premises together 
with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part 
his heirs and assigns forever And the said parties of the first 
part for themselves and their successors as Trustees as aforesaid 
binding themselves however only to the extent of their trust
property the above described and hereby granted and released 
premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances 
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns 
against the said parties of the first part and their successors
