             This Indenture made the Eighth day of October in 
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty five
between Edwyn Sandys Dawes George Augustus Thomson and 
Anthony Norris of London England Trustees of the Florida Land
and Colonization Company (Limited) incorporated under the 
Companies Acts 1862 to 1880 and whose registered office is 
situate at 13 Austin Friars London E.C. England parties of 
the first part and George H. Sutherland of the County 
of Alachua and State of Florida party of the second part
Witnesseth That the said parties of the first part for and in 
consideration of the sum of one hundred and Sixty dollars lawful 
money to them in hand paid by the said party of the second 
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
