to the official Plat of the survey of the said lands returned to the General
Land office by the Survey General which said Tract has been purchased
by the said Wesley C. Timberlake. Now Know Ye that the United
States of America in consideration of the premises and in conformity
with the several acts of Congress in such case made and provided have given
and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said Wesley
C. Timberlake and to his heirs the said tract above described To Have and
to Hold the same together with all the rights privileges immunities and
appurtenances of whatsoever nature thereunto belonging unto the said
Wesley C. Timberlake and to his heirs and assigns forever In
Testimony Whereof I Grover Cleveland President of the United States
of America have caused these letters to be made Patent and the seal
of the General Land office to be hereunto affixed. Given under my
hand at the City of Washington the twentieth day of March in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty five and

                     Know all men by these presents that whereas
we J.D. Stringfellow & C. Stringfellow of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida Merchants and partners doing business in
said County and State under the name and Style of J.D. & C.
Stringfellow are as such copartners Justly indebted in considerable
Sums of money and have become unable to pay and discharge their
said indebtedness with punctuality or in full and being desirous of
making a fair and equitable distribution of their property and
effects among their Creditors now therefore Witnesseth that in
consideration of the premises and of the sum of Ten Dollars
to us in hand paid by James E. Alexander of the County of
Volusia and State of Florida the receipt whereof is hereby acknow=
ledged we have bargained sold conveyed released assigned transferred
