Malphurs and Milly Malphurs to me well known as the person
described in and who executed the foregoing deed of Conveyance and
acknowledged that they executed the same for the purpose therein
expressed whereupon it is prayed that the same may be recorded

 M.S. Perry        }
           This Indenture made the 15th day of March 1885 between Henry G.
Marquand of the City and State of New York of the first part and M.S. Perry
of Fort Crane Florida of the Second part Witnesseth that the party of the
first part for and in consideration of Eight hundred Dollars to him
paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged Hath bargained sold granted and conveyed and does by these
presents sell grant and convey unto the said party of the Second part his
heirs and assigns forever all that lot piece or parcel of land situated in
Alachua County in the State of Florida and known as Section one (1) in
Township Eleven (11) in Range Twenty one (21) containing Six Hundred and
thirty one 14/100 Acres or there abouts: the said above described lot being a
part of the Arredondo grant which was partitioned at a sale of said grant
in February 1849 to have and to hold unto the said part of the second
part his heirs and assigns together with all the appurtenances thereto
belonging, the dower of the wife of the said Marquand party of the first part
being released by an instrument bearing date March 1855 and recorded in the
Clerks office of the County of Alachua and the said party of the first part
hereby Covenants and agrees to and with the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns that ^at the date of this instrument^ the aforesaid
premises are free and clear of all taxes and encumbrances and that he
will warrant and defend the same unto the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever In witness whereof the parties have hereunto
set their hands and seals the day and date aforesaid in the town of
Micanopy in the State of Florida
