        Alachua County  } Whereas under and by virtue of 
an execution issued out of the County Court in and for
Alachua County Florida and me directed wherein J.J.
Thompson was plaintiff was plaintiff and R.P. Rain J.J. Rain
& J.R. Bevill as administrators of C. Rain deceased was defendant I
S.C. Tucker as Sheriff of said Alachua County Florida have duly
levied upon the property herein described and under and by virtue
of said execution have duly advertised the said property for sale
on this First day of June AD 1885 according to law and whereas on
this First day of June AD 1885 I did as such Sheriff duly sell the
said property hereinafter described under and by virtue of the said
execution at public outcry before the Court House door in
the town of Gainesville in Alachua County Florida and
whereas at said sale James R. Crawford became the purchaser
of the said property hereinafter described at and for the 
sum of One Thousand Five hundred & Fifty 00 Dollars that being
the highest best and last sum bid for the same at said Sale
