               This Indenture made this 25th day of June AD 1885
between Maria Harper a widow party of the first part and John G
Nichols party of the second part both of Alachua County Florida
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Forth Dollars ($40.00) to her cash in hand paid before the sealing
& delivery hereof the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath
granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these
presents grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said party of
the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, the sole and exclusive
privelege of the digging and use of the ?Mack? being and contained in the Branch
and adjacent Swamp owned by the party of the first part and being upon and
a part of her property described as follows to wit commencing at the
North East Corner of the lot now known as Celia Waits? lot running south
two chains to a Stake thence East Six chains to the Stake thence North
Eight chains to a Stake thence West two chains more or less to the
run of a Branch thence down the run of said Branch to a point
dure North of the place of beginning containing 3 acres more or
less all in Section four Township Ten South of range Twenty East
in the County of Alachua State of Florida to have and to Hold
the said right and privilege of the use and enjoyment of the said
?Muck? to the said party of the second part and to his heirs and
assigns forever exclusive of all others rights and interest from
from the hindrance or molestation of all and every person whatsoever In
testimony where the said party of the first part has hereunto
set her hand and seal on the day and year first above written
