          Alachua County   }  Know all men by these presents that I
M.S. Perry of the County & State aforesaid having as I trust proper
respect for the dead and a respectful regard for the living and
being desirous to set a part and as far as possible perpetuate a lot of
ground Known as the Oak ridge grave yard as a public Cemetery and for
other purposes and for sufficient considerations me there unto moving and
for the sum of one dollar to me paid by Jno R. Zetrouer Jno D. Hennis
James M. Croxton Samuel Lowman Moses Freymouth George Leitner
W.W. Geiger and Jas A. Stewart of the County and State aforesaid have
granted bargained sold and delivered and by these presents to grant
bargain sell and deliver unto the aforesaid Zetrouer, Hennis
Croxton Lowman Freyermouth Leitner Geiger and Stewart the following
lot or parcel of land situated in the County and State aforesaid and
being a part of Lot No Five of Moses E. Levy's Twenty thousand acre Grant
within the Arredondo Grant and Known and designated as follows: That
is to say, Beginning at a post oak corner in the NW corner From
thence E 3° N Twenty poles to a lightwood stake near the road
leading from Micanopy to Black Creek Via Fort Crane, From
thence S 3° E Twenty four poles to a Post oak From Thence W 3°
S Twent poles to a Stake corner From thence N 3° W Twenty four
poles to place of beginning containing according to estimate Three
(3) acres all of which is more fully set forth by the accompanying
Plat To have and to hold all and singular the above mentioned Lot or
parcel of land together with all the rights members hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise incident or
appertaining unto the aforesaid Jno R. Zetrouer Jno D. Hennis Jas
M. Croxton Samuel Lowman Moses Freymouth George Leitner W.W.
Geiger and Jas A. Stewart their successors heors executors
Administrators and assigns forever.  In Trust nevertheless for the
uses and purposes hereinafter Specified; That is to say in Trust for
the use benefit and behoof of the community to be kept protected
preserved and as far as possible perpetuated as a Public Cemetery and
with the View the better to preserve and adorn this lot of land
set a receptacle of the Dead the aforesaid Zetrouer Hennis
Croxton Lowman Freymouth Leitner Geiger and Stewart or a Majority
of them are hereby respectfully requested to raise by Subscription
or otherwise a sum sufficient to erect upon the above mentioned
lot a church or building in which religious exercises are to be had
