said church to be tendered to the denomination of Christians called
"Methodists" of the Episcopal Church South to be subject to their
management and control conditioned however, that the aforesaid
"Methodists" are not on any pretext whatever to prevent or debar
any orthodox denomination of Christians from using said building
or church for the purpose of Divine worship when said church
is not in actual use by said "Methodists" for a like purpose
And it is expessly conditioned and stipulated that in the event
of the denomination of christians called "Methodists" refusing to
accept of the aforesaid church with the above mentioned condidtions
and restrictions then and in that case the said church to be free
without let or hinderance to an orthodox denomination of
Christains for divine worship - In Testimony whereof I hereunto
set my hand and affix my seal this the 18th day of November in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & Fifty four
