This Indenture made this Thirteenth day of June in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty five by and
between Chas A. Mc Ewen and Olivia C. Mc Ewen his wife of the City
of Washington and District of Columbia of the first part and William
F. Geyer of the City of Washington and District of Columbia of the second
part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consider
ation of the sum of one dollar and other consideration in lawful money
of the United States to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold
aliened enfeoffed released and conveyed and do by these presents grant
bargain sell alien enfeoff release and convey unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever all those certain pieces
or parcels of land situate and lying in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida being Known and designated as all of lot numbered one
and the west half of lot numbered two (2) and the west half of
lot numbered five (5) of Section Twenty seven (27) Township Eleven (11)
South Range Eighteen (18) East containing Seventy nine 68/100 (79 68/100)
acres free clear and discharged of all encumbrances Together with all
the improvements ways easements rights privileges and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining and all the
remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the
estate right title interest claim and demand either at law or in equity
or otherwise however of the said parties of the first part of in to or out of
the said pieces or parcels of ground and premises. To have and to hold the
pieces or parcels of ground and premises and appurtenances unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns to his and their
sole use benefit and behoof forever. And the said parties of the first
part for themselves and for their heirs executors and administrators
do hereby covenant promise and agree to and with the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of
the first part and their heirs shall and will warrant and forever
defend the said pieces or parcels of ground and premises and appurtenances
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns from and
against the claims of all persons claiming or to claim the same or
any part thereof by from under or through them or either of
them. And further that they the said parties of the first part
and their heirs shall and will at any and at all times hereinafter
upon the request and at the cost of the said party of the second
