 Know All men by these presents That I Thomas B. Tillis of the
aforesaid County and state for and in consideration of the
sum of Two hundred and fifty (250) dollars to me in hand paid
by James Mitchell of the County of Alachua and J Lorenzo Lyons
of the County of Duval Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed unto
them the said James Mitchell and J Lorenzo Lyons all those
certain lots pieces tracts or parcels of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua State of Florida particularly
Known and described as follows to wit The South West quarter
of the North West quarter the South West quarter of the North
East quarter the North East quarter of the South West quarter
the North West quarter of the South East quarter and the
South West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Twenty
five (25) Township Eight (8) South of Range Twenty one (21) East
containing by estimation Two hundred acres of land more less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertain-
ing To Have and to Hold the same unto them the said James Mitchell
and J Lorenzo Lyons and to their heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute and I the said Thomas B Tillis do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said James Mitchell and J Lorenzo
Lyons that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed and that I have good and lawful right to sell and
convey the same that the same is free from all incumbrances of any
kind whatsoever and that I will and my heirs executors and
administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same
unto them the said James Mitchell and J Lorenzo Lyons and to
their heirs executors administrators and assigns against the lawful
claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming
or hereafter to claim the safe In Witness Whereof I and my wife
Hettie Tillis who hereby freely and voluntarily releases relinquishes
and renounces all her right of Dower in and to the land in the
foregoing described have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals
on this Seventh day of April A D 1885
