This Indenture made this thirteenth day of May
in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty
Four by and between Thomas A. Mitchell (single man) of
Washington city in the District of Columbia of the first part
and Richard Contes of the same place party of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and
in consideration of the sum of Thirty two hundred Dollars lawful
money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and conveyed
and doth by these presents grant bargain sell alien enfeoff
release and convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever the following described real estate situate lying
and being in the City of Gainesville in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida being in Elliott and L'Engles
Addition to the town of Gainesville in said County Surveyed and
Platted by John L. Banks County Surveyor August 26th 1874
and duly recorded (said Real Estate being four original lots
200 feet square or) Sixteen Lots of 10,000 square feet each
as follows in block Numbered Three (3) Ranges Nineteen (19)
Twenty (20) Twenty one (21) and Twenty two (22) of said plat
recorded as aforesaid being the same lots deeded to Thomas A.
Mitchell by Lucy A. Bailey February 6th A.D. 1884 and duly
recorded among the land records for Gainesville in the County
of Alachua & State of Florida - Subject however to Taxes Together
with all the improvements ways easements rights privileges appur
tenances and hereditaments to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining and all the remainders reversions rents issues and
profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim
and demand whatsoever either at law or in equity of the
said part of the first part of in to or out of the said
pieces or parcels of land and premises. To Have and to Hold the
