         This Indenture made the Ninth day of March Anno Domini
Eighteen hundred and Eighty five between Samuel A. Swann of the City of Fernandina
County of Nassau and State of Florida (unmarried) party of the first part and
F.G. Bauknight of the Town of Archer County of Alachua and State of Florida
party of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred (100) Dollars lawful money of the
United States of America to him in hand paid by the said party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold
aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does
grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all that certain Tract or parcel
of land Situate lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and Known and described on the public plats of said county as the
North West quarter of the North East quarter of the South West quarter of the South
East quarter of Section Seventeen in Township Eleven South of Range
Eighteen East containing Two and one half acres (NW1/4 of NE1/4 of SW1/4 of SE1/4 Sec
17, T11 S R.18E 21/2 acres) Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits
thereof and also all the estate right title interest property possession claim and
demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said party of the
first part of in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof with the
appurtenances To Have and to Hold the above granted bargained and described
premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever
and the said party of the first part for himself his administrators and
executors does covenant promise and agree to and with the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns that he the said party of the
first part at the time of the sealing delivery of these presents
is lawfully seized in fee simple of a good absolute and indefeasible
Estate of inheritance of and in all and singular the above granted bargained
and described premises with the appurtenances; that the same are
free clear discharged and unincumbered of and from all former and
other grants titles charges estates Judgments taxes assessments and
incumbrances of what matter and Kind soever and that he will
warrant and forever defend the same unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns against said party of the first part his
heirs and all and every person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming
or to claim the same In Testimony Whereof the said party of the first
part has hereunto affixed his hand and seal this the day and year
above written
