Alachua County   } his wife Mattie S. Means Each of whom being to me
well Known severally acknowledged that they and each of then Executed
the above & foregoing deed in the manner and for the uses and purpos
es therein Expressed, and the said Mattie S. Means, being by me first
duly questioned and Examined separately and apart from her husband
the said George W. Means acknowledged that she signed Sealed & delivered
the said deed for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing
all of her Dower right of dower or other title in and to said property
and that the same was done and made by her freely voluntarily
and without any Compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from
her said husband the said George W. Means, Witness their hand
and Seal Oct 28th AD 1886

                       This Indenture made this first day of 
March Anno Domini one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Three 
between Edward N. Dickerson of the City of New York County 
and State of New York Trustee duly appointed by the Penin-
sular Rail Road Company of Florida party of the first part and 
John W. Buchanan of Alachua County State of Florida party 
of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said party of the 
first part for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty and 36/100
($50 36/100) Dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the 
second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
given granted aliened bargained sold transferred and doth by 
these presents give grant aliene bargain sell transfer and convey
unto the said party of the Second part and to his heirs 
and assigns forever all that Certain parcel or tract of 
land Situated and lying in the County of Alachua State 
of Florida and particularly Known and described on
