State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Edwin
Alachua County   } P. Cater, C.C. Lancaster Charles A. Sheldon, Henry
E. Day and J.D. Matheson all of the County and State aforesaid the
present Trustees of the incorporated Church organization of Gainesville
Florida Known as the First Presbyterian Church and W.F. Rice, Thomas
E. Haile, sen E.E. Waples, Joseph S. Sherwood and William P. Whitney all
of said County and State as trustees of the incorporated church organiza
tion of Arredondo Florida, Known as the Kanapaha Presbyterian
Church all of Alachua County Florida under and by virtue of the power
and authority vested in us as said trustees and under a decree
of the Hon Thomas F. King Judge of the 5th Judicial Circuit of
Florida in and for Alachua County rendered on the 28th day of Feb
=ruary AD 1884 in a Chancery cause pending in said Court in the name
of James D. Matheson Et als vs Tillman Ingram Et als and in con
sideration of the sum of Two thousand five hundred dollars ($2500)
to us in hand paid by Susan A. Bauknight of the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto her the said
Susan A. Bauknight all that certain lot piece or parcel of land
situated lying and being in the City of Gainesville County of Alachua
and State of Florida, particularly Known and designated and
described upon the original maps of the Town of Gainesville as being
Block One (1) of Range One (1) the same being popularly Known
as the Presbyterian Parsonage Lot and measuring Two hundred
feet North and South and Two hundred feet East and West, together
with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining, To Have and
to hold the same unto her the said Susan A. Bauknight and to
her heirs, Executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute
forever as fully and absolutely as we the said Grantors herein as such
Trustees have power and authority to convey the same on behalf
of said Church organization the said property being the joint
property of the said two church organization of which we the Gran
tors herein are the Trustees as aforesaid. In Witness whereof we
have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on the 9th
day of April AD 1886
