This Indenture made this 9th day of August AD 1884, Between
William C. Andruss of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
party of the first part and C.W. Bauknight, S. Frei & W.L. Jackson
Trustees of the County of Alachua and State of Florida, parties of the
second part, Witnesseth that that said party of the first part for and
in Consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the
whereof is hereby acknowledged has bargained sold and transfered
and by these presents does bargain sell and transfer unto the said
parties of the second part and their successors forever all that certain
parcel of land lying and being in the County of Alachua and State of
Florida and more particularly described as follows: Commencing
at the South West corner of the North West Quarter of the North West
Quarter of the South West Quarter of Section Sixteen (16) Township Eleven
(11) Range Eighteen (18) thence running North Sixty (60) feet, thence East
one hundred (100) feet, thence South Sixty (60) feet thence West one
hundred feet to the point from which we started, it being 60
by 100 ft on which is to be erected a Presbyterian Church South
Together with all the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances
with Every privilege right title interest and estate dower and right
of dower reversion remainder and easement thereto belonging or
in anywise appertaining. To Have and to Hold the same in fee
simple forever, And the said party of the first part does covenant
with the said parties of the second part that he is lawfully seized
of said premises: that they are free of all incumbrancecs and
that he has good right and lawful authority to sell the same
and that he will Warrant and defend the same against the
lawful claims of all persons. In Witness Whereof the said party
of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written
