thence East on a straight to the Eastern boundary of Lot one thence South
on a straight line to the South Eastern Corner of said lot Five the place
of beginning Together with all the tenements hereditaments appur
tenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have and to hold 
the same unto him the said William B. Patterson his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever he having by
his deeds and instruments of writing to which he made himself a party
Conveyed to us and to Mrs Susan Maria Stapleton of Paterson
Passaic County New Jersey the other heir at law of the late Thomas Patterson in 
and to the rest and residue of the real Estate belonging to the Estate
of the late Thomas Patterson in Gainesville Alachua County Florida 
as the same is laid down on P.F. Jenkins Survey and plat of the
same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and 
seals this the 1st day of March AD 1888

do hereby Certify that on this day personally appeared before me Mrs
Elizabeth Pinkoson and Hyman Pinkoson her husband and Mrs Mary E.
McCarrall daughter and an heir at law of the late Thomas Patter
son and Michael G. McCarrall her husband and Mrs Sarah 
A. Patterson widow and relict of the late Thomas Patterson who
Each severally acknowledged before me that they executed the
foregoing deed of Conveyance for purposes therein expressed 
and the said Mary E. McCarrall and the said Mrs Elizabeth
Pinkoson on a private Examination held by me separate and 
apart from their said husbands acknowledge before me 
that they executed said deed to their separate estate freely 
and Voluntarily and without any fear apprehension Con
straint of or from their said husbands. In testimony where
of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the day
