"An Act making further provisions for the sale of the public lands" for 
the North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Twenty five in 
Township Nine South of Range Twenty Two East in the District of lands
subject to sale at Newnansville Florida containing Thirty nine acres and 
Eighty two hundredths of an acre according to the official Plat of the Survey 
of the lands returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General which 
said Tract has been purchased by the said John Sparkman, Now Know Ye 
That the United States of America in Consideration of the premises and 
in conformity with the several Acts of Congress in such case made and 
provided have given and granted and by these presents do give and 
grant unto the said John Sparkman and to his heirs the said Tract 
above described, To have and to Hold the same together with all 
the rights privileges immunities and appurtenances of whatsoever 
nature thereunto belonging unto the said John Sparkman and to 
his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof I Franklin
Pearce President of the United States of America have caused these 
letters to be made Patent and the seal of the General Land Office 
to be hereunto affixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington 
the Nineteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand 
Eight hundred and fifty seven, and of the Independence of the United 
States the Eighty first

State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this the
Alachua County   } Twenty fourth day of December in the year of our
Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and sixty six between John
Sparkman and Lydia Sparkman his wife of the County and State
aforesaid of the first part and Ezekiel Suggs and William Suggs
of the County and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that
the said parties of the first part for and in Consideration of the
sum of Forty Nine Dollars and Seventy Eight cents to them in
and paid at and before the signing sealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents
grant bargain sell and Convey unto the said Ezekiel Suggs
and William Suggs their heirs and assigns all that tract or par
cel of land situate lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State aforesaid Known and distinguished as North East quarter
of the South East quarter of Section No 25 in Township No 9
