At a meeting of the board of county

1st Ordered that the Treasurers books and A/c
be examined by the Judge of probate and if
found to be correct, to be approved &c
2 Ordered that Proposals be rec'd by the Court
at their next meeting for building a bridge
over the Pararie Creek on the new road leading
from Gainesville to Palatka, said bridge not
to exceed in price for building Two hundred
dollars
3 Ordered that the Account of Henry Fewell
amounting to six dollars for repairs of
the Jail in Alachua County be paid
4 Ordered that the Account of J.H. Roper for
schooling Children (viz) L.J. Lavender, A.S.
Orhts and S.A. Lavender Amt forty dollars
and fifty Cents be paid
5 Ordered that the Account of Morgan
for carrying Election returns from Wacassa Amt
Four dollars & fifty Cents be paid, also
the Account of Wiley Hicks for carrying
the Election returns from Waldo to Gainesville
Amt One dollar & Sixty Cents be paid,
also the Account of A.W. Hinson for
carrying Election returns from Orange Creek
to Gainesville Amt One dollar & Eighty Cents
be paid Also the Account of James B.
Colding for Carrying Election returns from
Fort Walker to Gainesville Amt One dollar and
Sixty cents be paid
6 Ordered that the Road through Mitcheal Kirklands
land be turned to run around his fence, and
that the said Kirkland Cut said new Road
and put the same in as good Condition
as said Old Road |
