furnished the Circuit Court Clerk, and it appearing to
the Satisfaction of the Court that said Desk was necessary
to the safekeeping and good order of the Public Records
and that the amount charged $15. is reasonable and
just: it is hereby Ordered that said Acc't be paid by
the treasurer ----

Mrs. Zilpha Standly
having presented an account against the County for
a room furnished the Jury at the December Term of the
Court 1846. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the
Court upon the evidence of Thomas C. Ellis that said room
was necessary to the comfort of the Jury and the amount
charged $5. Was the price agreed upon between the
Claimant and Sheriff; It is hereby ordered that said
account be paid by the Treasurer -----
There being no other business before the
Court, It is ordered that the Court do now adjourn

At a Special Term of the Court held at Newnansville
November 23 1847. Present H.C. Wilson President
of the Board and Samuel B. Colding, Asa Clark, Peter
Sparkman & Hezikiah Osteen Esq'rs, Commissioners all
of the members being present, the Board proceded to
the transaction of business.
The Attention of the Court having been Called
to the bad state of the public roads, it is Ordered
that the following named persons be, and they
are hereby appointed Commissioners on the respective
roads assigned them
