At a meeting of the board of County
Commissioners, Present Mathew Hinson, C.
Rain, Wm Strickland, J.M. Sparkman
and E.H. Jordan President of the board
Ordered that the Precincts called Fort
Walker and Half Moon Pond (which
has heretofore been discontinued) be
again established as Precincts in said
County of Alachua
Ordered that F.M. McCall County Treasurer
be requested to Examine the books of
the Tax Assessor and report to the next
meeting of the board
Ordered that E.H. Jordan notify A.W.
Cook to appear at Gainesville on Monday
the 17th and settle his account as Tax
Collector with F.M. McCall Treasurer
On motion the board adjourned
to meet again on the 1st day of day
of November AD 1860
