Alachua County Est Fla
and Collector of the State Tax, assess and collect for County
purposes for Alachua County twenty five per cent upon
the State Tax for the Current year 1849.----
Charles L. Dell having presented an account against
the County for services as Judge and President of the Board
of Commissioners for 1846, it is ordered that the County
Treasurer pay said account out of any money in the Treasury
not otherwise appropriated say Nine 9/100 dollars.----
A.E. Grigger Sheriff of Alachua County presented an
account against the County for services in guarding prisoners
and repairing jail and for Jail Furniture and for articles
furnished the Circuit Court for the sum of ninety one 25/100
dollars it is therefore ordered that the County Treasurer pay
said account out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise
appropriated ---
It is ordered that the County Treasurer pay to the
President of this Board, Samuel B. Colding, and William Dell
the sum of two dollars each per day for their services for
attending the Board of Commissioners for this day the 29th
of Jan'y 1849
There being no other business before the
Court it is Ordered that it stand adjourned untill
its regular Term. ----

At a regular meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held at said place this day for the transaction
of County business. Present the Hon' C.F. Fitchet Judge and
President of said Board, Samuel B. Colding, Peter Sparkman,
William Dell and Asa Clark Esq's being present the Court
proceeded to business
The bad Condition of the Road being taken into
Consideration, It is therefore ordered that the following
named persons, be and they are appointed
Road Commissioners of the several roads in Alachua County
