Upon the petition of twelve freeholders of Alachua County a road was ordered to be laid out from Fort Russell to the ford of Rice Creek. The road to be laid out by the commissioners appointed on said road and to constitute the first road District, And Alderman Carlton, Daniel Gillet and Justice Joseph Howel to be Commissioners The road from Micanopy to Fort Harley to constitute the second road District and James Thomas, R.S. Stoughton and David Gillet to be road commissioners on said road. The road from Fort Walker to Newnansville to constitute the third road District and Cornelius Rein, Charles L. Wilson & Alexander Hunter J.P. to be road Commissioners on said road. The road from the Natural Bridge on the Santafee River to Fort Harlee to constitute the fourth road District, And George L. Brown, Philip Dell and Justice Thomas J. Prevatt to be road Commissioners on said road. The road from Fort Harlee to the Horse Hole to constitute the fifth road District and Nat Jones, Wade Sparkman and Justice Wyatt C. Allen to be road Commissioners on said road. On petition of sundry persons an Election was ordered to be held at Hulls Pond. Roman R. Sanchez Clerk Circuit Court presented an account of $18. For the book bought for keeping of the County Record which was ordered to be filed further examination Ordered that the Court do adjourn Charles L. Dell Judge of Probate & President
