      It is hereby ordered that on the road from Fort Crane to 
Orange Spring, that William H. Carpenter, John G. Dampier and 
John W. Woods be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners of 
said road, And they are further ordered that after being qualified 
to meet and apportion the hands liable to work on the same according
to the Statute in such cases made and provided, And have 
said road worked on and put in good repair --- 
                       Road District No. 8 
       It is hereby ordered that on the road from Micanopy 
to Fort Harley, That Joel B. Smith, M.S. Perry and David Jones 
be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners of said road.  And 
they are further ordered, that after being qualified, to meet and 
apportion the hands liable to work the same, According to the Statute 
in such cases made and provided, And have said road worked 
on and put in good repair --- 
       Order 3rd   Samuel W. Burnett presented an account in favor 
of Allen Hancock for services in writing notices, it is therefore ordered 
that the County Treasurer pay said account of             Dollars out of 
any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated --- 
       It is further ordered that the County Treasurer pay to 
C.F. Fitchet President of the Board of County Commissioners, George 
L. Brown, Samuel B. Colding and Elija Barrow two dollars each per 
day for this days service in attending on the Board of Commissioners --- 
        There being no further business before the Board it is ordered 
that the Board adjourn to its next meeting, the day and date above written

                                     President of the Board of Comm'r 
State of Florida } S.S. We the Subscribers and the Judge of Probate Alachua County } for said County and inhabitants of said County having the qualification of voters therein, And selected by the said Judge of Probate to assist him in Canvassing and Counting the votes given for the Offices of Justices of the Peace, in the several Justices Districts in said County as shown by the returns filed in the Office of said judge, at an election held at the several Districts in said County, on Saturday the 28th day of June A.D. 1851, in pursuance of an order of the said Judge of Probate. After having Canvassed and Counted the votes hereby Certify that the following is a true return of the votes at said Election, Viz.
