John H. Thornton presented his account for board
and medicine for John Nobles for ten dollars for the same
being considered just it is ordered that the full amount
be paid out of any money in the Treasury not other
wise appropriated.
The petition of many Citizens of the County
praying the Board of Commissioners to have worked the
road known as the Sugar Road
Commencing at Fort Tailor and ending at the Sand
Hill Cowpens where it joins the road leading from Micanopy
to Black Creek the Board considering said petition reasonable
order that the prayer of the petitioners be granted and that
the road Commissioners of District No. 2. Be notified of
this order.
Samuel Russell Clerk of the County Circuit Court
presented his account for regulating the papers &c
of the Clerks Office. The Board having examined the
work done, and seeing that it is done correctly and
that the Office is now in good order, his account
claiming the amount of three hundred dollars. The
Board orders the same to be paid out of any money
in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
A.M. Caston Judge of Probate presents his acc't
for transcribing the former Books of the County
Commissioners the Board examined the work and see that it
is done order that he be paid thirty dollar out of any
money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
The Board took into Consideration the matter
of County Taxes. And order that a tax of fifty per
cent on the State tax be assessed and collected by the
Sheriff and Tax Collector for the County.
C.L. Wilson presented his account for taking
care of the children of Stephen McKenna while their
mother was confined in jail and McKenna gone, for ten
dollars, the Board considering it just order the same to be
paid out of any money in the Treasury not appropriated. |
