State of Florida }
Alachua County	 }  We the subscribers and 
Judge of Probate for the County 
of Alachua, voters and citizens of said County 
selected by said Judge of Probate to assist him 
in counting and canvassing the votes given 
for justices of the peace at the Election ordered 
on the first Monday of the present month 
for said Justices of the peace, do hereby certify 
that returns from only two of the Justices districts 
have been received Viz   from Mickanopy in 
the 5th district and from Gainesville in the 
6th district in the 5th district the whole number 
of votes polled was fifteen and of these J.G. Fauckner 
received fifteen (15) votes and J.H. Prescott 
received fifteen (15) votes, and in that in the 
6th district the whole number of votes polled 
was 13 and of these Andrew Robb received thirteen 
(13) votes and B.F. Yareny received twelve (12) 
votes

State of Florida } Alachua County } To the Sheriff of Alachua County, you are hereby commanded to summon Thirty nine good and Lawful men of the County of Alachua to be and appear at the court house at Gainesville on the second Monday in may next to serve in the capacity of Jurors at a court to be then and their holden in, and for the County of Alachua as aforesaid witness Lemuel Wilson Clerk of our said Court and the seal of the County aforesaid this the 11th day of April A.D. 1857
