bargained, and Sold, and by these presents doth, grant bargain & sell unto the said 
party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, Two thousand acres of land 
being an undivided part or portion of a tract of Twenty thousand acres situated in Big 
Swamp in said Territory, and which said tract of land was granted to Joseph M. 
Arredondo, and a Royal Title made to him by the Spanish Government dated on the 
Twentieth day of March in the year One thousand eight hundred & seventeen.  Four thousand 
acres, being an undivided part or portion of said grant, was conveyed to Pedro Miranda 
party to these presents of the first part, On the first day of March in the year of Our 
Lord One thousand eight hundred & twenty five, by the said Joseph M. Arredondo 
the grantee, the Lands hereby conveyed, being the undivided One half of said Four thous
and acres granted as aforesaid, Together with all and singular the Hereditaments &
Appurtenances, whatsoever tot he same belonging or appertaining, and the reversion 
and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof.  And 
also all the estate, right title and interest, trust property claim or demand whatsoever 
both in Law, and in Equity, of the said party of the first part, in, to or out of the 
said Lands tenements, Hereditaments and premises.- To have and to hold to 
the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper use 
benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.-
    And the said party of the first part, all and singular, the above granted Lands 
tenements, and Hereditaments and every part and parcel thereof, unto the said party of 
the second part, his heirs and assigns, against him the said party of the first part, his 
heirs and assigns, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.-
	In Witness whereof the party of the first part, hath hereunto set his hand 
and seal, the day and year first above written.-

                        AD 1829, Israel Smith a subscribing witness to the within 
Instrument of Writing, came before the subscriber Clerk of the County Court for the County 
and Territory aforesaid, and made oath that Charles Robion and Walter Smith in his 
presence, and in the presence of Joseph Simion Sanchez executed the same, as and for 
their Act and Deed for the purposes therein mentioned, whereupon I have recorded 
the same in Book H. Page 246.  Witness my hand date aforesaid
