St. Johns County     } 	This Indenture made the Eleventh day of 
October in the year of Our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and twenty six, 
Between John A. Cavedo of the first part, and John Y. Garey of the 
second part, both of the Territory aforesaid, Witnesseth That the said 
John A. Cavedo, for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred Dollars 
to him in hand, at and before the sealing and delivery of the presents the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold 
and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain sell & convey 
unto the said John Y. Garey, an undivided, fortieth part of Four Thous
and acres of Land situated on the River Oklewajau in East Florida, which
