                      sixteenth day of March AD 1830 
Joseph B. Lancaster a subscribing witness to the within Instrument 
of Writing, came before me the subscriber Clerk of the County Court for the 
County and Territory aforesaid, and made Oath, that George I.F. Clarke 
in his presence and in the presence of William Livingston executed 
the same as and for his Act and Deed, for the purposes therein spe
cified, Whereupon I have recorded the same in Book H folio 418
			Witness my name, the date aforesaid

This Indenture made the             Day of June in the 
year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred & twenty nine, bet
ween Francis I. Fatio, Attorney for Donna Praxedes Cacifacio 
and the heirs of Joseph M. Arredondo, deceased and administrator of the 
Estate of the said Joseph M. Arredondo of the first part and Alfred Guthrie 
Trustee of Christopher Dudley Guthrie of the second part Witnesseth 
that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of 
One thousand Dollars lawful money of the United States of America to 
him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, at or before 
the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged, hath remised, released and quit claimed, and by these 
presents do remise release and quit claim, unto the said party of the 
second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever of the said Christopher 
Dudley Guthrie, All that certain tract or parcel of Land, situate on the 
Orange Lake Creek containing 1000 acres, which is part of a tract of four 
thousand acres, Surveyed by Joshua A. Coffee for Antonio Alvarez Decem
ber in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty five 
The Original made by the Spanish Government to Joseph M. Arredondo 
a tract much larger and located on the Oklewaha River, the parcel 
above described and sold, is designated on the attached plan marked 1000.
