herein before first above described, One thousand
Dollars..
For the said tract of One thousand Acres
at Cedar Hammock as next herein above described
Six Dollars.. And for the two tracts of five hundred
acres each, at the sum of One Dollar each.. Which said
several sums of One thousand and eight Dollars
in the whole, have before the sealing and delivery of
these presents been paid me by the said Clinch
Now therefore this Indenture witnesseth,
that I Samuel Blair - Marshall of the United
States for the district of East Florida, for and in
consideration of the premises, and the payment
of the said sum of One thousand and eight
Dollars, by the said Duncan L. Clinch to me,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
have, given, granted, bargained and sold, and
do by these presents give, grant, bargain and
sell unto the said Duncan L. Clinch, his
heirs and assigns, the said several tracts of Land
bid off by the said Clinch as aforesaid and
above particularly described, that is to say
One tract of eight thousand acres of Land situated
on the west side of the river St. Johns, the description
of which is herein above given. It being the same
tract of Land confirmed to the said George I.
F. Clarke by the decree of the Supreme Court of
the United States, to be found reported in the 8th
Volume of Peter's U.S. Reports at page 436 of said Vol
ume.. Also.. Another tract or parcel of Land
of One thousand acres situated at Cedar or
Bagg's Hammock, and also two other tracts
of five hundred acres each situate at and about
Deep Creek, a more particular description of which
said Lands, and several tracts and parcels thereof
is herein before given and contained
