being part of a tract of twenty thousand 
acres confirmed to the said Moses E. Levy 
by decree of the supreme Court of the 
United States as part of a grant of twenty 
two thousand acres originally granted 
to George I.F. Clark on the seventeenth 
day of December eighteen hundred and 
seventeen.
		And now this Indenture made this twenty 
ninth day of January in the year one 
thousand eight hundred and forty six 
between Moses E. Levy of the State of Florida 
of the first part and Theophilus Beatty 
and Ellen Adair Beatty his wife executrix 
and pricipal heirs of the late J.M. White 
also of the State of Florida of the second 
Witnesseth that the said party of the first 
part in order to effect a settlement 
in full of all claims of the parties 
of the second part against him 
on account of the deed of conveyance 
above mentioned made by the said M.E. 
Levy to J.M. White bearing date the 8th 
day of May 1835, and for the further 
consideration of one dollar lawful money 
of the United States in hand paid by 
the parties of the second part the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath 
granted, bargained, sold aliened remised 
released conveyed and confirmed, 
and by these presents doth grant bargain 
sell alien remise release convey and 
confirm unto the said parties of the 
second part One thousand two 
hundred and twenty acres of land 
of average quality in the Arredondo
