This Indenture made the fifth day of January 
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight 
hundred and forty seven, between John W. Lowe 
and Elizabeth Lowe administrator & administratrix of the 
Estate of Fernando Lowe deceased of the first 
part and Asa A. Stewart of the second part 
Witnesseth that said parties of the first part 
as administrator and administratrix aforesaid and 
by virtue of a special act of the legislative 
Council of the Territory of Florida, entitled 
an act for the relief of the Widow and orphans 
of Fernando Lowe approved the 5th day of 
March 1842 and for and in consideration of 
the Sum of two hundred and fifty dollars to 
them in hand paid by the said party of the second 
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by 
these presents do grant bargain sell and 
convey unto the said party of the of the second 
part his heirs and assigns forever the following 
lands situate in the County of Alachua and 
State of Florida to wit
