out of which the said five hundred acres is to be taken was 
heretofore conveyed by the said Don Fernandes de la Maza 
Arredondo and son by Bun H. Betts their attorney to 
Nathaniel Wells of the City of New York in the State 
of New York Merchant by virtue of a Power of Attorney 
bearing date the sixth day of June one thousand 
eight hundred and twenty one and Recorded in 
the Office of Register in and for the City and 
County of New York in Set.  No 1 of Powers of At
torney and Page 229 the thirteenth day of June 
1821.  Referance being had to the said Power of 
Attorney or the Registry thereof, and more fully 
appear, the Same five hundred acres of land hav
ing been by Indenture bearing date the third day 
of July in the year of Our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and twenty one, released and quit 
claim to the party of the first part by the said 
Nathaniel Wells
	Together with all and singular, the her
editaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging 
or in any wise appertaining and the revision & re
visions, remainder or remainders rents issues and 
profits thereof, And also all the estate right 
title, interest, dower, and right of dower property 
possessions, claim and demand whatsoever as 
well in law as in equity of the said parties of 
the first part of, in, or to the above released premi
ses, and every part and parcil thereof with 
the appurtenances.
	To have and to hold all and singular 
the premises above described and released Together 
with all the appurtenances, unto the party of the sec
ond part his heirs and assigns forever, And 
the said parties of the first part for themselves 
their heirs executors and administrators and 
for each and every of them do covenant, pro
mise and agree to and with the said party
