City & County of New York } Be it remembered that on the Sixteenth day of October in 
year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight, came before me 
John White, one of the subscribing witnesses to the within Deed to me known 
who being before me duly affirmed says, that he saw the within named Nath’l 
Wells, sign, seal, and deliver the said Deed for the uses and purposes therein 
mentioned, and he knew Nathaniel wells to be the person described in & who 
executed the said Deed, which to me is satisfactory evidence of the said fact 
and the said John White further on his affirmation saith that he at the time 
of the execution of the said deed, signed his name thereunto as a witness all 
which I certify according to the Statute in such case made and provided

hereby Certify, that Cornelius Roosa whose name is subscribed to the Certi
ficate of the proof or acknowledgment of the annexed Indenture or Instrument 
in Writing, and endorsed therein, was on the day of the date of the said Certificate 
a Commissioner in and for the City and County of aforesaid, dwelling in said County 
Commissioned and sworn and duly authorized by Law to take the proof and ackno
wledgment of deeds and discharges of Mortgages &c.  And further that I am 
acquainted with the hand writing of said Commissioner, and verily believe that the 
signature of Cornelius Roosa subscribed to the said Certificate is the proper hand 
writing of the said Commissioner.
	In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of 
the said County the 16th day of October 1828

twenty eight, came before me Jasper Ward, one of the subscribing witnesses to the 
within Deed, to me known, who being by me duly sworn, says that he saw the within 
named Nathaniel Wells, Sign, Seal and deliver the within Deed for uses and 
purposes in said Deed mentioned, and that the said Nath’l Wells, at the time of 
the execution of said Deed acknowledged, the same to be his free act & deed & that 
he executed the same for the purposes in said Deed mentioned, and that he knew 
the said Nathaniel Wells, described in and who executed the within Deed, which 
is to me satisfactory evidence of the said fact, and the said Jasper Ward further 
saith, that he at the time of the execution of the within Deed, signed his name 
thereto as a witness thereof.-
