State Of Florida } Know all men by these Presents, That The Evergreen Cemetery
Alachua County   } Association a Corporation under the laws of Florida operated in
the County Aforesaid for and in consideration of Thirty five & no/100 Dollars to it in hand
paid does by these Presents grant, alien and convey unto Mrs J.W. Bennett her
heirs and assigns the following piece of land in Alachua County Florida particularly
described upon the plat of Evergreen Cemetery, as recorded among public records of
said County as follows to wit All Of Block A 10 of Section 3 - To Have and
to hold the same unto her and her heirs and assigns forever, as a place of permanent
interment for white persons, under the rules and regulations of this Association,
not to exceed one interment in each lot. Provided however and these presents are
upon this express condition that no transfer of the above granted premises can be
made without the consent of this Association in writing.
Witness the signature and seal of this Association by its authority Officers
at its Office in the City of Gainesville Florida, on this 15th day of Nov 1909 AD

  This Indenture Made and Entered into on this Eighteenth day of November AD
1911 between Cato Johnson a widower of Alachua County Florida parties of the first
part and Leah Walker wife of Charles Walker of Alachua County Florida party of
the second part Witnesseth: That the said parties Of the first part for and in consider-
ation of the Sum of One dollar and other valuable considerations to him in hand
paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
has bargained, sold, transferred and conveyed unto the party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever that certain lot tract or parcel of land
situated in Alachua County Florida to wit:
The West Half of lot Number Six (6) of the Thomas Napier Grant in Town-
ship Ten (10) South of Range Nineteen (19) and Twenty 20) as per plat thereof
recorded in Deed Book "I" at page 591 of the Public Records of Alachua County
Florida, Containing by estimation Twenty (20) acres of land more or less -
To Have and to hold the same unto the party of the second part her heirs and
assigns together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments to the same
belonging or in anywise appertaining.
