This Indenture, Made this 19 day of January AD One Thousand
Nine hundred and twelve between William P. Van Ness, as Sur-
viving Executor, (a duly authenticated copy of said Will and the
records of probate being now of record among the land records
of Alachua County and State of Florida), party of the first part, and
Charles Tipple, Jr., of the City of Gainesville, Alachua County
Florida, party of the second part.
Witnesseth, That in consideration of the sum of One Hundred
and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) paid by the said party of the second
part to the said party of the first part, receipt thereof is hereby
acknowledged, the said party of the first part doth hereby grant,
bargain, sell, assign, transfer and set over unto the said
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, All That cer-
tain piece or parcel of land situate and lying in Brush's Add-
ition to the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida,
and described as follows, That is to say:
Commencing on the West boundary line of Arredondo Street
at a point two hundred and sixty-four (264) feet South of
The North boundary lines of Block Number Twenty-Three and
extend West along the South boundary line of lot formerly deed-
ed to Grace Roberts one hundred and fifteen (115) feet; (Thence
extend South sixty-four (64) feet, more or less: thence
extend East one hundred and fifteen (115) feet to The West
boundary line of Arredondo Street Thence extend North along
said West boundary line of Arredondo Street sixty-four (64)
feet, more or less, to the place of beginning.
Being part of the grant of land known as the "Arredondo
Grant" which by decree of The Circuit Court of St. Johns
County, in said State of Florida, in the case of Brush
and others against Prall and others, dated Augusut 11th
