This indenture, made this 13th day of February AD
one thousand nine hundred and twelve between William
P. Van Ness, as Surviving Executor of the last will
and testament of Julia A. Van Ness, deceased, a duly au-
thenticated copy of said Will and the record of Probate
being now of record of the first part, and
               Otha Sapp,
of the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, party
of the second part
Witnesseth, that in consideration of the sum of on hundred
and fifty dollars ($150.00), paid by the said party of the
second part to the said party of the first part, receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the
first part, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
said party of the first part doth hereby grant, bargain,
sell, assign, transfer, and set over unto the said party
of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all those
certain pieces or parcels of land situate and lying in
Brush's Addition to the City of Gainesville, Alachua Coun-
ty, Florida, and described as follows, that is to say:
All of lot number thirty-seven (lot no. 37) and that part
of lot number thirty-one (lot no. 31) lying to the East
of the right-of-way formerly deed to the Gainesville &
Gulf railway Company (now called Tampa & Jacksonville
railroad) in Block number twenty-five (Blk. no. 25) of
said Brush's Addition to the City of Gainesville, as shown
on a plat of said block 25 made by A.W. Taylor, Civil
Engineer, in the year 1905, and duly recorded in said
Alachua County in Plat Book "A" page 88.
Being part of the grant of land known as the "Arre-
dondo Grant", which by decree of the Circuit Court
of St. Johns County, in said State of Florida, in the
case of brush and others against Prall and others, dated
August 11th 1849, and duly recorded in said Alachua
County, was adjudged and set over to the heirs-at-law
