This Indenture, made this 14th day of August,
A.D. 1912, between Snyder Memorial Methodist
Episcopal Church, a corporation organized under
the laws of the State of Florida, party of the
first part, and R.C. Brown, S.F. Waits and
R.H. Knapp of Alachua County, Florida, as
Trustees of the Union Church of Grove Park in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, par-
ties of the second part, Witnesseth: Whereas the
District Superintendent of the Jacksonville
District, St. Johns River Conference, of the Methodist
Episcopal Church has, for Quarterly Conference
purposes, united the Trinity Methodist Episco-
pal Church of Grove Park, Florida, with the 
Quarterly Conference of Snyder Memorial Meth-
odist Episcopal Church of Jacksonville, Florida,
and Whereas at a session of the Third Quarter-
ly Conference of the said Snyder Memorial Meth-
odist Episcopal Church held in Jacksonville
on August 13, AD 1912, a resolution was
adopted authorizing the President and Secretary
of said Snyder Memorial Methodist Episcopal
Church in the name of said corporation
to execute a trust deed to the parties of
the second part for the property hereinaf-
ter described; now therefore, the said Snyder
Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church, a cor-
poration, for and in consideration of the
sum of Ten Dollars to them in hand paid
by the said parties of the second part, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has
granted, bargained and sold to the said
parties of the second part, as Trustees
of the said Union Church of Grove Park,
and their successors in office and trust
forever for the use of the pastor, members
and congregations of said Union Church of
Grove Park, as a place for the worship of God
