before me, and separately and apart from
her said husband, did acknowledge that
she made herself a party to the said Deed of
Conveyance, for the purpose of renouncing, re-
linquishing and conveying all her right, title
and interest, whether of dower or of separate
property, statutory or equitable, in and to the
lands therein described, and that she executed
said deed freely and voluntarily and without
any constraint, fear, apprehension or compulsion
of or from her said husband.

Whereas, James T. Mc Millan and his Wife,
Mary A. Mc Millan, on the 5th day of
March, AD 1879, sold and conveyed by a
Deed of Warranty to Mrs. Margaret P. Howard
the property hereinafter described; and Whereas
there was a technical omission in the Deed
in that the word "heirs" was omitted there-
from, and the said grantors, James T. Mc
Millan and Mary A. Mc Millan, his wife,
desiring to perfect the title to the said prop-
erty hereinafter described in the said Mrs. Mar-
garet P. Howard, her heirs and assigns; There-
