     Josie V. Johns & G.T. Kennard } 
This Indenture, made this 19th day of October
AD 1912, Between Mrs. Sarah E. Lanier and M.S.
Lanier, husband & wife of the County of Dad
and State of Fla parties of the first part, and
Josie V. Johns and G.T. Kennard of the County of
Alachua and State of Fla parties of the second sec-
ond part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the
first part, for and in consideration of the sum
of One hundred Dollars, to them in hand paid,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have
granted, bargained, sold and transferred, and
by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and
transfer unto the said parties of the second part
and their heirs and assigns forever, all that cer-
tain parcel of land lying and being in the Coun-
ty of Alachua and State of more particularly de-
scribed as follows: Lot six (6) in Blk nineteen (19)
in the Original survey of the town of Newberry,
Fla; also Lot Four (4), containing eight acres and
lot six in blk Five (5), and Lot seven (7) in blk
three (3), all in Holts Addition to the town of
Newberry Together with all the tenements, hered-
itaments and appurtenances, with every privilege,
right, title, interest and estate, dower and right
of dower, reversion, remainder and easement
thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining:
To have and to hold the same in fee simple
forever. And the said parties of the first part
do covenant with the said parties of the second
part that they are lawfully seized of the said
premises, that they are free from all incum-
brances and that they have good right and law-
ful authority to sell the same; and the said part-
ies of the first part do hereby fully warrant
the title to said land, and will defend the
same against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever.
