This Indenture, Made this Eight day of March
AD 1904, between John L. Wells and wife May
Wells of the County of Alachua in the State
of Florida parties of the first part, and J.A.
Williams of the County of Alachua in the State
of Florida party of the second part, Witnesseth:
That the said parties of the first part, for and
in consideration of the sum of Ten & 50/100 Dollars,
to them in hand paid by the said party of
the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold
to the said party of the second part, his heirs
and assigns forever, the following described
land, to-wit: Lot No 23 in Block (5) Lot No
4 in Block (3) Lot No 17 in Block (1) in Wells
Addition to Alachua and the said parties of the
first part does hereby fully warrant the title
to said land, and will defend the same against
the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the
first part has hereunto set their hands and
seals the day and year first above written.

I Hereby Certify, That on this 8th day of
March AD 1904 before me E.E. Bells person-
ally appeared J.L. Wells and Mary Wells
his wife to me known to be the persons
described in and who executed the foregoing
conveyance to J.H. Williams and severally
acknowledged the execution thereof to be
their free act and deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned; and the said
Mary Wells the wife of the said J.L. Wells
