I hereby certify that on this day before me person-
ally came and appeared, L.L. Lassiter and Annie
L. Lassiter, his wife to me well known, and by
me well known to be the identical persons described
in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and
they each and severally acknowledged to and be-
fore me that they executed the same for the uses
and purposes therein contained and expressed. I
further certify that the said Annie L. Lancaster, the
wife of the said L.L. Lassiter, on an examination had
and taken by and before me separate and apart from
her said husband, and she acknowledged to and
before me that she executed the same, and joined
with her said husband in the execution thereof,
freely and voluntarily and without any appre-
hension, fear, compulsion or constraint of or from
her said husband. In Witness Whereof, I have here-
