purposes therein mentioned; and the said Judith P. Rainey,
the wife of the said J.L. Rainey on and examination
taken and made separately and apart from her said
husband, did acknowledge that she made herself
a party to said deed for the purpose of renouncing
and relinquishing her dower, or right of dower, in
and to the lands, tenements and hereditaments therein
described and thereby granted and released, and
that she executed the said deed freely and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear

To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:
Whereas, a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office
at Gainesville, Florida, has been deposited in the Gen-
eral Land Office, whereby it appears that pursu-
ant to the Act of Congress of May 20, 1862 To Secure
Homesteads to Actual Settlers on the Public Domain,
and the acts supplemental thereto, the claim of
Horace Hukins has been established and duly con-
summated, in conformity to law, for the northwest
quarter of the northwest quarter of Section four
in Township eleven south of Range seventeen
east of the Tallahassee Meridian, Florida,
containing forty and six-hundredths acres,
according to the Official Plat of the Sum of
the said Land, returned to the General Land
Office by the Surveyer - General:
