the said Mayme F. Broome, the wife of the said W.S. Broome,
on and examination taken and made separately and part
from her said husband, did acknowledge that she
made herself a party to said deed for the purpose of
renouncing and relinquishing her dower, or right of
dower, in and to the lands, tenements and hereditaments
therein therein described and thereby granted and released,
and that she executed said deed freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension
or fear of or from her said husband. Witness my hand
and seal at Gainesville, Florida the date aforesaid.

This Indenture, Made this 20th day of June, AD 1914, be-
tween L.J. Brooks, and J.B. Brooks, her husband
(who joins herein with his wife) of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida, parties of the first part, and Geo-
rge Jackson of the County of Alachua and State of Flo
rida, party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said
parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar in hand paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge,
have remised, release and quit-claimed, and by these
presents do remise, release and quit-claim unto the
said party of the second part, and his heirs and as-
signs forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and de
mand which the said parties of the first part have
in and to the following described lot, piece or parcel
of land, to-wit: Situated lying and being in Ala-
chua County, Florida: Commence at S.E. Corner of
W.H. Davidson's lot, and run west 100 feet to point
