struck off to the said Party of the Second Part to these pres-
ents, for the sum of One Hundred Dollars, that being the
highest and best price bidder for the same. And Whereas
the said sale was in all respects conducted according to
the orders and practice of said Court, and as directed in
said decree. And Whereas it was in said decree bearing
date of the 30th day of May, AD 1914, among other things,
ordered that the said Master execute and deliver to the pur-
chaser at said sale, deeds to said land. And Whereas, by said
decree in said cause, bearing date of the 29th day of June,
AD 1914, the said George Mason was appointed as such Special
Master, in lieu and stead of the said E.C.F. Sanchez, to carry
out the said decree, bearing the date of 30th of May, AD 1914,
now therefore, This Indenture Witnesseth that the said George
Mason, Master in Chancery, in consideration of the sum of One
Hundred Dollars, and for the purpose of carrying into effect
the said sale, so made as aforesaid, and by virtue of the said
last mentioned decree, and in execution thereof, hereby does, by
these presents convey to the said J.L. Slocum the following real
estate, lying and being in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida, and known and described as follows: viz - the
S1/2 of the SW1/4 of Section 6 and the NW1/4 of Section 7 and
the W1/2 of the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 6, and the NW1/4
of the NE1/4 of Section 7, all in Township 7, Range 15 East,
less two acres in the NE corner of the NW1/4 of the NE1/4 of
Section 7, Township and Range aforesaid, and all right, and
title, legal or equitable, of said defendant in and to the
same. To Have And To Hold all and singular the said
premises, so by said Master sold to J.L. Slocum, as afore-
said, his heirs and assigns forever, and all right and
title, legal or equitable, of said William Thomas therein,
as fully as the same can be conveyed by the said George
Mason, as Master in Chancery, in execution of and by virtue
of said decrees of said court in that behalf, reference being
had thereto.
In Witness Whereof, the said George Mason, as Master in Chan-
cery aforesaid, has hereto set his hand and seal on the day
and year first above written.
