Be it known, That I, Franklyn Doe, a Notary Public in and
for the State and County aforesaid, do hereby Certify that William
E. Haskell whose name is signed to the foregoing deed from the
Alachua County Colonization Company to the New York & Florida
Lumber Company, is well known to me and known to me to be
the individual described in and who executed the said deed
as the President of said Company and that he personally appeared
before me this day in said State and County and acknowledg-
ed to and before me that he executed said deed as the President
of said Company. And that the same is the free act and deed of
the said Alachua County Colonization Company, and that the Cor-
porate seal of said Company attested by its asst. Secretary was
there upon impressed by authority of the Board of Directors of
said Company, and that said execution by him as President
as aforesaid was for the uses and purposes therein set forth
and expressed.

I, William F. Schneider, Clerk of the County of New York, and also
Clerk of the Supreme Court for the said County, the same being a
Court of Record, Do hereby Certify, That Franklyn Doe has filed
in the Clerk's Office of the County of New York a Certified copy of
his appointment and qualification as Notary Public for the County
of Kings with his autograph signature, and was at the time of
taking the proof or acknowledgment of the annexed instrument duly
authorized to take the same. And further, that I am well acquaint-
ed with the handwriting of such Notary, and believe the signa-
ture to the said Certificate of Proof or acknowledgment to be genuine.
