Be It Known, that I Franklyn Doe, a Notary Public in
and for the State and County aforesaid, do hereby certify
that William E. Haskell whose name is signed to the fore-
going instrument from the Alachua County Colonization Com-
pany to the New York & Florida Lumber Company, is well
known to me and known to me to be the individual de-
scribed in and who executed the said instrument as the
President of said Company and that he personally appeared
before me this day in said State and County and acknowl-
edged to and before me that he executed said instrument as
the President of said Company, and that the same is the
free act and deed of the said Alachua County Colonization
Company, and that the Corporate seal of said Company at-
tested by its Asst. Secretary was thereupon impressed by au-
thority of the Board of Directors of said Company, and that
said execution by him as President as aforesaid was for the
uses and purposes therein set forth and expressed.
